  1. Oh lovely another 5-minute crafts clone. Look while some of your things could be useful the fact is you are doing them in the wrong way and some of them are just plain useless they're going to cause more problems than not or they're just going to make a big mess and not work. Take for example this video the thing about putting the wet rag around that leaf will it can work it's not necessary the only time you need to do this is if the plant is having trouble unfurling itself by itself and you didn't show that this was the case you just showed an unfurled leaf which you don't need to mess with telling people that they need to run for all this when it's not necessary isn't helpful. That watering container is just going to make a mess. Yes you can take a water bottle and flip it upside down and shove the hole into the dirt and have the water leak down into it that way it is self-watering but the second that you melted a tiny hole in the lid and put a q-tip down in it you're just being wasteful and making a mess because that is not going to work like that the q-tip is going to act as a sieve and all of the water will come out because there's nothing stopping it. The key to a self-watering anything is that the dirt is right there over the hole so that when the dirt gets dry it'll suck water out but if it's not touching the thing it's just going to continuously be letting water out and flood the planter once not self water over a period of days as it would with a REAL self watering apparatus.
