My backyard was neglected by the previous owner. I had around 13 pine trees removed and cleanup work done about 2 years ago. The yard is sloped but there's a flat area next to the fence. Past photos from the county's website shows what looks like a trampoline in the spot, so I think the owner might have carved out the area for the trampoline. I'd like to put a retaining wall there to prevent further erosion and fence damage. I'd also like the area to be a patio with maybe a firepit. What are some design ideas that are nice-looking but not too expensive?
