Recommendations for weeds, weeds, weeds

I have this side area between my decking and the fenceline that has weeds galore!!
I have about 4-5 times gone through and manually weeded this whole thing but, not unexpectedly, it's all grown back.
I am now pregnant and could not think of anything worse than manually weeding this area!!
I've never been particularly keen on using RoundUp because of all of the noise around this product.
Any recommendations on a longer term solution?
The ground below is essentially just rock – you can see some of the bigger rocks in the photos.
There are some other non-weed plants in this area as well, and tbh I'm not particularly attached to them so if a longer term solution means getting rid of them I wouldn't be too upset. Thank you!!!

30/70 glyphosate/water. Spray it on all you wish to perish, repeat a few days later to get what was missed.

Follow ppe instructions for roundup which is glyposphate

Whilst pulling up weeds you’ve probably disturbed seeds this gone to soil cycle continues

Alternative is to use weed slasher which does require a significantly higher dose amount than glyo uses

Abit more restricted longer term herbicide as it’s residual is uragan firebreak however can’t use that within 20 to 50 m of trees

High court ruled that there is no longer termmhealth risk when using roundup if following correct procedure and suitable PPE

guess it’s same as smoking inhale it regularly it’s bound cause problems

Sprinkle a generous amount of pool salt over the weeds and water it in. May need a few go’s but have been able to keep my weeds at bay. Especially the areas that are little pebbles.

    Hire a goat, no seriously

I’m in Melbourne and there’s a gentleman who hires his goats out for weeding.

    Yum yum.

Use a mask, eye protection and gloves for any form of poison, or pool salt will work, being pregnant lifting a bag of pool salt might not be on the agenda, maybe ask a neighbour who sprays his weeds to help, or call a local mowing guy, I’d spray that for 20 bucks cash if I live locally, boiling water might help too,

don’t use round up it’s so poisonous for the earth, it changes the molecular structure of the soil it’s toxic AF, just mow or strim them , or leave them there for the bees if you don’t use the area

  7. If there’s earth, something will grow. Your long term solution means weeding now, and planting groundcover plus anything else you want to cover/shade the ground.

This is exactly why I hate gravel and pebbles as a top dressing, they’re not successful long term as weed prevention, they just make things harder in the long run.

If you don’t use the space much, you might as well just let the weeds grow. Helps the birds and the bugs so long as you don’t have anything noxious down there.

I recommend dandelions. I don’t see any in your current collection.
