Lawn Care

More Overseeding!

First off huge thanks to r/lawncare. Because of this sub I know more about grass and weeds then I would have ever imagined in my entire life. And because of that I undertook a lawn reno last year. The old grass was OK but had tons of Bermuda. After nuking, dethatching, aerating, kinda leveling, and seeding last year (local seed company TTTF blend) I still had some bare spots but the overseed this year really took it over the top!

It is still not perfect (just like everyone who has a solid lawn on this sub says lol) but I am extremely happy how far it’s come. Even got a compliment from my neighbor the other day. That last picture is the first cut after this years overseed. About to put the finishing touches on my lawn striper and then we will be on our way to greatness!

WARNING: The window for safe seeding in all cool season zones has now closed. The next recommended window is dormant seeding, when soil temps are between 50F and 33F.

Regardless, if you are you looking for information about how to overseed a cool season lawn? You can find a comprehensive guide [in this post here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/lawncare/s/pUsKCxyvwQ)
