I had been operating under the assumption that all of these guys were kaput because i NEVER watered them. That was until i watched a lecture by lithops expert Jane Evans (its on Youtube, check it out.) So ive been lightly watering once a week (the soil is 75% inorganic.) I didn’t know what else to do but i certainly wasn’t going to throw them out. Just thought I would keep watering and start from scratch next spring.
Low and behold Big Guy popped him out a flower this week! And now i just carry my plant with me wherever i go (lol back and forth to work) while humming “dont wanna miss a thing” confident in the knowledge that I have, indeed, accomplished something in life! 😜
