Anyone ever grown Indian snake bean?

They grow like a weed here and I have a bunch of it on the way… Anyone have any experience cooking/pickling/drying them?

To me they smell like either fruity pebbles, peanut butter, or old bacon grease depending on who you ask.
They have the texture of a marshmallow with a cucumber crunch, weird I know but if you hold one you will get it, they are strangely soft but have some snap.

It is a bit of a tough sell, but the sheer quantity of fruit makes me think it may be worth growing of I can find some way to enjoy it. Does anyone have any insight?

I’ve grown red dragon. For pickling, I highly recommend Asian Pickles. I’m pretty sure they cover long beans.
