Previously I posted my M. Wightii inquiring about why it hadn’t had a new leaf since May when I bought it. Many of you stated that it probably needed more light (new light pictured), and that a lack of leaf loss was a good sign despite the pseudo-dormancy. I also took the advice regarding more frequent fertilizing.
When inspecting it this morning, I noticed one of its long dormant growth points had begun to open. I worried it was dying / drying up (haven’t been able to get distilled water for my humidifier since Helene), but it seems to be unfurling now. Will it be a new leaf?
