You dont have to remove it, dont worry. It will whittle away and fall off on its own in a few days. How many days depends on species. Enjoy your pretty flower while it lasts!! Steven looks great!!

No, you can not leave him alone. You have to sit by his side and adore the flower until it withers. You are not allowed to take your eyes off of it for longer than one second. Good luck.
