Alocasia

Corms roots

This is my first try to propagate alocasias. I didn't have high hopes for me so I don't even know from what plant I got the corms. They look like this now. Do I wait till the root get roots or is this enough? I don't want to kill them by keeping them too long it this jar or by putting them into soil to early.

Corms are like the cool underground stems of the plant world. They’re like the hidden treasure that keeps plants going strong!

I would wait a little longer before moving them to soil (if that’s your preferred substrate). Just make sure that when you first transition, the soil is a bit more damp than usual.
