Rare Houseplants

Help me help him

Might not get big but he sure does make up for it in personality, meet the newest member of my family….Microsorum thailandicum (Blue oil fern)!!!!!

Now how do I keep him alive? Lol vendor said: low light, well draining soil, hugh humidity. Sound about right? I currently have him behind some plants in my sunroom in the far corner so it's bright in the room but is always in the shade.

TIA for the advice!

I keep mine in the IKEA Akerbar mini greenhouse with a mini humidifier (but no fan).

I have had mine since July this year. And I put him in moss in a (big) shot glass; there’s no drainage holes. He seems to like it though because he put out a couple of new growth.

I have mine in a humid atmosphere. I have it in a jar actually with small holes for it to breathe. It likes to have moist soil but not wet.
