There’s very difficult access so I can’t bring any heavy equipment to move the earth easily. I think ideally I would want a clean look. I’m thinking to kill everything and plant grass. Maybe get rid of the tree. Thoughts or better ideas?

If it’s difficult to access you’re not gonna want grass that requires regular cutting/maintenance.
Can you put in steps to make it easier to access? A nice succulent garden or even a nice garden would be my go-to but depends if you can make it more accessible
