The initial idea was a paver patio, but I feel like it's selfish to use such a large area for human purposes. It's a 12 foot circle. I've got flower beds basically filling the rest of the yard.
Other ideas:
Put a small tree in the center
Dig a little deeper on the near side and do two Zuni bowls bordering a walkway to a half circle patio.
Put a raised bed as a pony wall on one side.
Abandon the patio and plant a northern red oak.
Any ideas or critiques are welcome and appreciated!
