My local nursery has one tree that caught my eye. It's $250 including the pot. It's really tempting because of the size, but there's not a lot of style to it so I'm unsure.
i wouldn’t. i see similar size elms on the facebook auction group for 75-150

For me, the only thing that matters is the bottom few inches of trunk (maybe a foot if you can do something with that area where it splits), and it’s not very impressive. Everything above that’s getting chopped off.
