Have this Neoporteria Napina, it gets tons of light. Direct sun in the outdoor season, ample grow light exposure in the winter. The examples I see online are quite squat and round while mine has grown tall. It’s about doubled in size over the last year and a half. It’s not pointy like I’d assume an etiolated cactus would be. Am I seeing young specimens as reference or is something going on with mine?

It does look etiolated, unfortunately. The green growth at the top is very evident of this. These guys like intense light to keep their globose shape.
The light green could mean the start of etiolation or too fast growth from excess feeding. Eriosyce (=Neoporteria) napina does have a very flat stem, usually flat to the ground and often hidden a thin layer of sand in habitat. But in cultivation these can grow pretty tall. Also, I am not too convinced this is E. napina; the spines seem too long and the tubercles too pointy.
