I have what I believe is a Silver Maple(?) in my backyard. I’ve been removing branches here and there to keep it from being a maple “bush” and it really shot up in height. Also you can see I added a soft sided Velcro strap to pull the 2 main parts together but I’m not sure if that was the right thing to do.
2 year old for scale.
Any tips for a total novice?
