Pothos

Propogating Huge Golden Pothos (Help!)

The last time I tried this was a massive failure. I had stuck a piece of golden pothos i got with roots coming off it into a cup of water and all it did was rot. I made sure the cutting was taken in the right place too with a couple sprouting leaves on top.

Anywho, we’re here now and I have a new fabulous cutting that I wanna put into soil. I’m however not sure how to go about it: should I cut it up and water prop first then put it in soil (which didn’t work the last time) OR should I cut it up and stick the roots in soil, OR should I not cut it at all (this options seems ridiculous)

The pic is of the new cutting and there’s a new hidden leaf you can’t see in the picture starting to open up. Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂

I would let the cut end dry out or callus before putting it in water. So say leave it without water for at least 2-3 days. Then go ahead and let it root in water or even moist soil with good drainage. Water is more fun as you can see what’s going on
