My sister got them for her birthday (in july they were smaller) she’s been watering them but she truly has no clue how to care for them. One of them (white pot) is even still in the black pot you buy them in she just put it in a pot but didn’t bother actually potting it. The roots are coming out of the drain holes on both should we repot.

I believe you have a lovely golden pothos and a philodendron birkin ☺️ I would take the plant out and check if it looks root bound, or too full. Pothos (and philodendron in my experience) like a snug pot, but have a tendency to be escape artists even if they don’t need repotting. The best way to confirm is to just take a look at the roots 🙂↕️
