It’s a Queen of the Night cactus, it only blooms once a year, that’s what I’ve heard.

I propagated one in the past, a relative of my mom give it to me, she wanted for me to take a lot of cuttings, I only take one Queen of the night leaf. She past away a few months after that. She was a distant family, it was the first time i saw her, but now I can tell that story to my mom and remember her.

Anyway… it’s easy to propagate, it’s a cactus but not the kind of cactus that love the sun but the undergrowth cactus. They love light but preferably not direct sunlight. You can use soil for indoor plants (tropical plants) and plant it directly. Keep the soil a little wet all the time, don’t let the soil dry completely.

Treat it like a normal plant, and you will notice new growth in a few weeks, if the leaves turn yellow probably you’re not watering enough (or too much).

This is a photo that i took a few time ago, i plant it with my Aglaonema Silver Queen, notice that at first the new leaf grew etioled because the lack of light but then I adjusted that and grew normal.
