It’s my first time growing plants. The leaves look healthy, but is it normal for the stem to have brown or purple-ish color gradient as seen in the photo? Recommendations are appreciated, Thanks 💚?

it can happen naturally or from overwatering. check out wet the soil is then maybe hold off watering until its a bit more dry. they also look a little leggy so could probably use more light.
