BMW is Metal Junk. Total Waste of Money. BMW Car and Bikes are for Dumb-Wealthy Peoples.
If a car is no different to you than a toaster or blender, this makes perfect sense. I've never heard of toaster culture or toaster meets. Some have a connection to the car. They want something interesting. Point A to point B as cheaply and reliably as possible is an option, but good grief, yawn.
I had a BMW 528e. It had the engine rebuilt twice, once under warranty, and once out-of-pocket. The first time it was burning through a quart of oil every 500-600 miles. This was documented by the time the vehicle had 20,000 total miles on it. They couldn't figure out what was wrong, so just bored out the pistons and put in new rings. The second time the head cracked, with no reason given, except that it got "too hot." Given that there was no problem with the radiator or cooling system, it is not clear why it got "too hot."
All old cars though 🤔
German engeniring,the best😂😂
I currently have a 2020 BMW Z4 M40i. Bought it certified used with 26,700 miles on it almost 3 years ago, and it currently has 95,000 miles. Not one mechanical problem. Still has original brakes and shocks. Drives as well today as the day I first bought it. I'd take it over a Japanese car any day.
Ok but…. 276k miles on that Mercedes is A LOT so how can you blame it?
Kia sucks but it is cheaper. There are lots of worse cars. Luxery cars are meant to be hard
These luxury cars are a great metaphor for how the world works. Looks good and feels good to drive, but in actuality are the biggest pieces of crap on the road 😂
pulling down whole brands is just reeking of amateurism or populism. kia came a long way and in the past 10ish years they are pretty reliable. old bmw's are good, they went down in the last 10-15 years. mercedes is a luxury brand, it will never be cheap, but it has good cars as well. chrysler, dodge, I don't know much about these brands, but picking on their worst must be unfair too.
#1. Honda
#2 Toyota
But it's really close!
Everything else sucks!
My wife has a 25 year ole Corolla she drives most days, with 171,000 miles on clock…..never gives problems. Now at 25 years old,it will fetch around €1000 if she were to sell it,here in Ireland!
BMW yeah, 14 years, a toyota highlander crashed to me head on. I walked away, he lose two legs below knees, might be stupid according to you but I get to live with full limb by the end.
So buy a piece of Yank crap…
hardtop convertibles are stupid, because you lose space in the trunk, where do you think the roof goes?
I'm guessing you guys in the USA are deliberately getting stiffed on BMW maintenance charges and parts quality? Doesn't the USA have legally enforceable customer rights and protections when it comes to cars?
And I guess your roads must be really third world crappy quality if your rims are constantly buckling and breaking, and your tyres are splitting in normal use? Or do you have criminally poor tyre quality as well?
And you guys must be driving your BMers like complete idiots, constantly revving and heavy on the accelerator and brakes, to only get 7 MPG on a turbocharged car?
I've had my E92 M3 Sport since 2011. It's a naturally aspirated V8 – i.e. less efficient than a turbocharged car. I still get way way more than 7MPG and have over 100,000 miles on the clock.
I've driven it to and from the UK across France to Italy, going across the French, Swiss and Italian Alps more than 9 times. Thats a 1500 mile round trip each time. On the motorways I was averaging a cruising speed of 120Kph (75MPH) and often hitting 145kph (90mph) on empty stretches. I've driven it all around Italy and France. Never a problem.
I've driven it from the far South of England to and from the far North West of Scotland around the Lochs, Highlands and Western Isles 3 times, to north Wales and Snowdonia twice. Not a hitch, a glitch or a stutter. No cracked tyres or rims despite having to take it onto some unfinished and broken roads.
The low profile run-flat tyres are the most expensive replacement cost, and i've reconditioned my drop shadow alloys twice in 11 years to keep them looking new.
HAD THREE CAR MAKES WERE AIRCON BROKE, RENAULT HONDA CRV,
I drive a Kia Picanto. It's reliable, comfortable, fuel-efficient, and more lively than my previous VW Polo (which had a bigger engine). So – my experience with Kia is excellent.
Actually Fiat crafts very good engines… Everyone who lives in Europe is aware of that.
I can't tell the same for all Japanese car companies.
So what cars do you recommend? I am in a pretty okay situation and may buy my first car in the next 2 years. What would be good option?
Those van's are built to drink and drive.😂
That last line at the end made me laugh out loud!! Pure gold, thanks for posting! 😀
Buy a honda!
Our kia soul is almost 20 years old and has had 3 family members own it. Still going strong
democrats buy these cars
Even your beloved CRV has AC compressor issue, so don't blame kia for that !
BMW. Broken Many Ways😂
Ill never own another kia. Had a 2008 rondo wagon and the top of tank leaked. Guess what, its part of the sub frame that you had to buy as well. Over 1,500.00 to replace. The car got scrapped.
Thumbnail photo of him standing in front of a Toyota Rav had me fricken nervous. Shew. At any rate, I agree with all of this.
Shoulda threw Hyundai on there. I bought a 2024 Santa Fe. Biggest pile of junk I ever bought. I think an 87 Yugo GV has better build quality .
Well, I own a Dodge. Guess I’m stupid.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Whats left to buy ? Toyota and Mazda ?
Unless it’s a Honda,or Toyota the others are crap
The voice of truth has spoken today !!! LOL😄
I had a Chrysler as a rental. A piece of crap. No pickup and surprisingly bad gas mileage. My brother in law, Mr. Fancy Boy had a BMW. He seemed to bring it out just to brag. In reality, he mostly drove his more practical Honda.
Neighbors hate when Scotty works from home
That Mercedes shock absorber is literally 100 times as expensive as it should be. That's horrifying.
Kia and Hyundai are the worst of all. Wait, forgot to mention Jeep lol
The Nissan versa 2014 is one of the worst cars to buy… I'm trying to get rid of it as I write this comment.
My first Kia Soul had 120,000 miles til it got stolen….none of the problems he says the Kia Sportage had.
I was expecting to see chinese brands in the list.
Lmao i feel like crap after buying a bmw now. I got a 2017 330i
Lol i love how no one's defending Dodge and Chrysler😂😂😂
I buy any car exept american…
I was about to buy one cls first generation. I love that design. But…. i bought one Lexus GS 3rd gen instead! Great car!
Bad Motor in the Wet
I've got a 2014 Kia Rio that has only had normal maintenance. Top model with all the bells and whistles and every system still works.
