Thanks for the magazine discount. I’ve always been drawn to this magazine at the store, but didn’t get. I’m ordering it and I can’t wait for it.
Raspberry leaf really helped with birth and bringing in milk
Love every video! ❤
Your soup looks delicious. I so want to make some now. Thanks for a great video. Have a great week.
Southeastern Ohio here, we also got our first frost a few nights ago. Thank you for teaching others and sharing your lives!
I made a large batch of veggie soup, all from my garden. Even the chicken broth was homemade. I'm still too nervous to home can soup so I freeze it. In Greenville SC I can grow winter greens. Potatoes don't store well as it's just too warm. Canning and freezing is how I preserve potatoes for my family. 1rst time I participated in the #everybitcountschallenge and so glad I did. We are going to try the pantry challenge. Thanks for the idea of the apple crisp. Keep sharing your knowledge
Great video,,you sure get lots done
Jessica you are such an inspiration. I love your videos. And Hannah’s ponytail was so cute.😊
Another wonderful video. That is an impressive squash harvest for just a few little plants. When I saw your sponser, I squealed. Haha. My husband loves receiving his copies of Backwoods Home magazine in the mail. It is a great resource. I am excited to see that there is another line of magazines, too, and will have to check into that. Maybe it can be a Christmas gift to me, made even sweeter with the coupon code and savings. Thanks!
❤❤❤
God bless you and I’m so sorry that you lost your dear husband. I hope that you have family or friends that can lend a hand.
Hmmm. Preserved fruit and vegetables is more nutrients dense than the produce in the grocery stores since it was grown in a hot house and shipped. Vine to home is usually 3 weeks.
I need to plant garlic still and can apple pie filling.
In Washington, the apples are stored in buildings without oxygen. I mean at the fruit packing where houses. It keeps them crisp but…
Great video! I haven’t finished my garlic either and I’m not pregnant 😂 Can I use tapioca starch in your pie filling goop? Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for the tip about viable seeds in water vs non viable. Do you know if this applies to all vegetable seeds or just squash? thank you thank you!! 🙏🏻
I was in your neck of the woods (I believe) this week in Northwest Ohio. I was in Hancock County, near Findlay searching for and finding my great grandparents, great, great grandparents and greatx3 grandparents graves. The greats and great, greats were in the same cemetery (Union Cemetery) and the greatx3 were about 3 miles down the road in Big Lick Cemetery. It is such beautiful country in that area with all of the corn and soybean fields. It was beautiful weather and the experience of finding the graves was truly moving for me. So many lovely old farmhouses too!! Wow! Kept hoping I’d see one that looked like it might be yours!😂
Working together as a family is great, it helps the whole family bond. Thank you for sharing these useful tips to keep fruits and vegetables from spoiling. Wishing you and your family much joy.
Thank you for showing how to collect and store seeds.
You're my hero!
Thank you for sharing, always appreciate your videos ❤❤❤

❤❤❤
Great info re garlic. Take care. 😊😊
I’m trying to find some of those bags online at an affordable cost but not having any success. Can anyone please advise me? I need to do the same with our apples.
I love seeing little Hannah help with everything! I've been around since before she was born, and it's crazy that she's getting so big now!! She's going to be a wonderful big sister just like the rest of her siblings
Your canning cellar is awe-inspiring! As a new canner, I have only canned chicken, turkey and beef broths so far, as well as strawberry preserves. You're my hero!
Hi! A bit late here, but I took advantage of the subscription offer for the Backwoods Home. Thanks for the discount.
Great video! Good squash harvest. That is a lot of apples…lol.
I love how Adam was filmed working on a task. Hopefully everyone will leave you alone now about Adam’s rolls on your homestead. It’s none of anyone’s business how you two do life together. Thanks for sharing with us. I enjoy watching your videos and growing family. I wish I would have had this YouTube median to gleen from when I was raising my family, if only for encouragement.
My favorite video you have uploaded! I love the style where you take us along what it’s like to run your beautiful homestead and family. Cozied up with a tea and my knitting project. God bless!
Is it a good idea to store other seeds in the fridge or freezer?
💛
I have squash and pumpkins baking. I saw your roasted squash done and thought I think I can smell it. Smells so good. 😂 Then it's like oh yeah I'm baking some. That soup looked so good.
I’ve watched your channel for several years now and enjoy every episode! Fellow Ohio homesteader here. Thank you for the magazine discount- I ordered both and can’t wait to start learning more. I’m 63 years young with a grown son, so I do things on a much smaller scale, but I learn so much for you. God bless you and family! (Kym)
I love Backwoods Home magazine!
I harvested the last of my potatoes, and planted my garlic today, zone 4A. They say it's going to be a rough winter, I'm hoping they're wrong!
