I’m in ga. and I’ve start putting my holes 5 to 6 inches up. I’m not good at watering more than once a week when it too hot to go outside.
I water at the end of the day, too. I agree with you – having the water overnight when it’s cooler for a longer period of time seems to make the plants happier. Also, the cactus and succulents absorb water in the evening. And, for me it’s a nice relaxing way to end the day. 😌

Yes, I really like this format! It’s fine when you answer questions during garden tours or other videos, but it does make it very difficult to go back and find the topic. Plus I’m rewatching a video for a half an hour or more to get to the information I need or to find out that I’m watching the wrong video. Quick videos answering one question or discussing one topic would be helpful. Not that I mind rewatching your videos – LOL! But sometimes I just need a quick answer.
