  1. The food stealing thing is from the 60s . My grandfather (dad side) had to force my grandmother away from doing it and they had their own vegetable garden, a plot of potatoes etc. What is even more odd when told to just ask to be allowed to gather apples , according to my late grandfather, my grandmother would claim it to be too embarasing and my grandfather had to do it. Even when both of them were 70+. Gran would even send out us kids to get corn from the state farm field etc

  2. 2:00 reminded me of a local supermarket near me that had to make rules that people will be charged for taking extra veggie bags. The supermarket had a "bring your own bag or be charged for a reusable shopping tote" rule to encourage ppl using their own bags, but some people would skirt them by pulling tons of veggie bags instead.

  3. This is so horrible, farmers spend so much money and time , growing there vegetables, and for people to come steal it , I don't understand why the CCP don't arrest them , for doing this , I grew up poor myself where I would eat one small meal a day if we were lucky, but we didn't go around stealing from people, this is so horrible, then to take this type of behaviour to other countries is ridiculous.. no shame or integrity at all ..

  4. i live in a part of America where there is a large Asian population. I rarely see this kind of selfish behavior from Asian nationals but when I do it's always so odd. Once at an H-Mart there was a huge bin of fruit that was on sale for super cheap. A group of old ladies was filling up bags taking more than their fair share which is rude by itself but they were also taking bites out of the fruit and throwing it back into the pile. And the oddest part was that they didn't seem to have any shame about doing so. Another time I was walking up to a clothing store as a large family approached. I was going to get to the door first so the family ran to the door and blocked me and made sure that their family got in before i could enter. They gained nothing by doing this which made it even weirder.

  5. Shouldn’t be surprised, the culture has always been like that. Selfishness and corruption has been prevalent in Chinese history.

  6. The insane thing is that everyone does it and at the same time everyone complains about the others stealing things.

  7. My grandma experienced the Spanish Civil War and the post war period. She came from a really poor family, in a, back then, really poor part of my country, and they experienced real hunger and famine.
She tells us, again and again, how they roamed the land, in search of wild greens so they could eat something, how they cried of joy the first time that the state provided bread made from wheat flour in the 50s, instead of hard bread made from corn flour (bear in mind, the Spanish Civil War lasted from 1936 to 1939).
That kind of trauma still shows everytime we go to her home, how concerned she is about if we are well fed, to pick up the leftovers in our way out, but something that they never did was stealing such insane ammounts of produce, that is just plain insanity and entitlement.

  8. Your right! A great communist cultural influence! And their leaders and army is doing it worldwide! 🤣😁🤣😆🤣😅😂😆😂shameless and without conscience!😢

  9. It’s incredible how Communist policies reinforce the most selfish, untrusting side of humanity

  10. They steal because they are self centered. Internally, the thieves believe it's ok for them to steal because others pain and loss is irrelevant compare to the thieves getting their trinkets.

  11. I don’t buy that excuse. The grab hags often throw the loot away after taking it. They grab it so someone else won’t have it. It’s raw selfishness.

  12. I saw this behavior at the food bank in San Francisco in 2009. They old chinese ladies would take so much food and then go sell it downtown.

  13. Sorry, not buying the "we was hungry kids, so now we act like savages". This is just garbage greed and wanton selfishness permitted by the CCP.

  14. But communists are all working together for the good of their neighbors and country! How ever could this have happened?
