A question from a very inexperienced viewer, if the fire places exhaust gets extremely hot, wont the metal grate transfer the heat to the wood deck and burn it eventually, also heat rises up so the rafters above the exhaust will take the brunt of the heat , I am sure there are solutions in place I am just unaware as to what they are
