I’m having issues keeping my containers fertilized well. Those plants tend to suffer more than my bed plants.
Have you tried drip irrigation?
Great looking garden . Are your bags /containers completely filled with soil?
Also , I noticed the mulch . What are the benefits of mulch ? 😊
Nice tour
Ugh I love your videos. So relaxing.
Everything looks wonderful Batavia!
You’re garden is looking good. The greens are always on point wow!
Hey Batavia! I get so excited when I see you post a new video😄
Your brassicas always looks amazing! I'm hoping to do better this fall, between watering, fertilizing, and covering with tulle. Thanks for sharing!😊
What type of mulch do you use? I have some red mulch is that ok to use for container pots?
Thanks Octavia. Where do you get the black containers with the support attached?
It is awesome to see come back on the sean going hard as if you never left. Just awesome, keep up the Good work SIS👍🤝💯🥂
Thank sharing plants in garden friend ❤️
I thought of Bubble Beet as soon as I saw the gray tub! So cool. I struggled with planting up my herbs this year also. Ironically, I've had so many challenges this garden year–despite it being my best year of sticking to my seed starting calendar! Many frustrations but trying to glean as many lessons as possible. Loved your tour!
Absolutely beautiful Batavia, so productive and picturesque at the same time. You've got so much produce to look forward to! You're growing a lot that I'd love to but can't as I'm in Scotland and don't have a real greenhouse, I only have a little plastic growhouse for seeds. I'm so excited for you!
Nice job!!!!!
I live in Chicago too. For my tomatoes I use 5 gallon buckets with Miracle Gro soil, black kow manure, peat moss. I water directly at the bottom of plant. I have one patio tomatoe, one husky tomatoe, and one beef steak tomato growing. I also think it's the weather this year. Last year I grew 4 indeterminate tomatoes and had too many.
Oh I thought Chicago was zone 5
might you divulge any compost or soil or fertilizing strategies you employ?
your plants are always so vibrant & healthy looking!
Hi, thank you for showing the corn in the container. I'll have to cage mine tomorrow… I didn't think to do that. Happy growing!💕
So Sorry Batavia I got got your name wrong.
You have me hooked ! This is my new hobby ! I have gardened for over 50 years but now will garden in containers.
WOW!!!!! You give true meaning to the words container gardening!! What you've created is just BEAUTIFUL💜 And I can only imagine just how MANY people you've inspired, who don't have land. Job well done!!💛
Regarding water .. have you thought of drip irrigation?
Nice garden B Betta! You are an inspiration. I try to encourage people to grow a container if they don't have a yard or garden space. I will tell them to watch your posts. Thank you.
