I shot this video a few weeks ago, but i was just able to edit it today. The front yard video will be up next week. Thanks for watching.
Wonderful and detailed garden tour! I love how you point out specific tips on plants and shrubs, especially noting invasive species. I sat on my front porch with a cup of coffee and enjoyed before heading out into my garden. Thank you!
Wow at 11:25 it’s like a sea of English ivy.
Beautiful landscape. Thank you for sharing.
Ivy is very invasive. Just with a cotton or a small cloth wipe the leaves with a roundup — it will be absorbed and kill the roots that are in the part of your garden. They grow rhizomes horizontal under the soil. Control them. They will strangle the roots of your plants and weaken them very sadly. I am organic mi fed gardener. Ask another ivy control spray. Beautiful video and I have learnt a lot. Love you letting us know the names of your garden plants. Thank you. Well done 👍
Loving the garden tours
Thanks so much for showing shade gardens! I have a fully shaded backyard due to two beautiful weeping Oaks and it’s tough finding a variety of plants and flowers that will thrive
Absolutely beautiful
Wow, I very much enjoyed the tour. I sure hope my Lenton Rose will someday look like the ones you showed! I assume it will take time, since I planted mine last spring.
Chindo Viburnum is too big for these small gardens and hellebores invade as well..why bother with these plants…
Hello, may I ask if you can turn the English captions on for this video please? Thank you.
I recently began watching your videos and am so enjoying them.
Where can I get an opuntia humifusa plant?
Wow, it appears they use azaleas as a ground cover. I’ve never considered that.
👋😃
Thank you for sharing this shade loving garden. How much maintenance do you think it takes to keep this garden up? We have a wooodscaped yard and want to do something like this with our property. Lots of trees and shade and no lawn to mow.
We would totally watch you walk around a beautiful garden for an hour, just FYI.
Beautiful— love the tours
It’s incredible how they have created their own private, lush world in such a small space. What a stunning garden!
Fqntastic!
I love hearing the birds! Such a beautiful space. Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous
Oh that Mayapple is beautiful!
Great that you are local to me! Been subscribed for a pretty long time and your videos are some of the best on YouTube in my opinion. Thanks for doing them. I am sure it is a lot of work.
I love how the different variety of plants block out the yard in areas. You have to venture out and explore to see all of them. Can't wait for part2!
Very beautiful Jim! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
please plant milkweed <3 it'll be perfect for your gardens <3
Gorgeous and tranquil garden – you did it justice with your thoughtful movements and camera panning.
Love backyard walkways.
Thanks for the tour! They did a nice job planning Nature! Lovely paver wall and walkways, including seating areas! 🙌
Beautiful garden but I would love to know how you stop the birds scratching in the mulch I get so sick of sweeping in my garden even with high edges.?🇦🇺🙋♀️
STUNNING ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Did part 2 ever appear? I'm unable to find it.
Lovely garden!!! Thank you!🏡
Very good looking, healthy helleborus. I'm jealous! Aphids, slugs, snails, and disease got mine. I finally dug them all out and tossed them into the yard recycle bin. Hopefully, where they're going will heat up enough to kill whatever ailed them. I don't like ivy. Fortunately, neither do any of my neighbors. If it ever came into my yard, I'd be tempted to spray along the fence line at the first sign of any leaves poking through, and spray any starts popping up from seeds spread by birds. Blackberries are a problem. Birds spread the seeds from miles away. I'm constantly running across babies and pulling or digging them out. Those I don't spray because I'm not as mad at them as I am ivy. Hope the ivy problem in this showcase yard gets under control! I wouldn't mind at all if solomen's seal was invasive in my yard. I can't get it to grow no matter what and I've tried for at least ten years. I keep planting it and it dies out. Move it around someplace else and it dies out.
When I first came across your video I didn't want to click on it, now I am a new subscriber and enjoy your knowledge and content.
