It took me about 1 year to make my garden the way it is now. Some more plants will be added in Spring 2017 as well as 3 new koi.
On the first page of my PowerPoint I wrote “garten”. It should be “garden” of course :-), Can you find the picture of the koi with whale ambitions?

Not a big fan of cement
I like the shape and most but the top concrete edge frame is NOT nice but I guess you an always safe some more money for nice rocks. There are wonderful red rocks in South Africa called Magaliesberg rocks redish volcanic orgine mostly rather flat with loads of holes. Who knows maybe you can find something and build them up to hide this brick block looking edge.

I still prefer to hear the sound of running water in the garden pond with koi or gold fish in it.
