Trends and fads are about as unpredictable as the weather, but there’s no use in taking a guess at what might catch on in 2017!
In years past, we saw trends like fairy gardens, terrariums, succulents and xeriscape really blow up in the mainstream. So what will 2017 bring for gardeners, landscape designers and plant nerds?
Greenery, biophilic design and water features are some of my top guesses for up and coming plant trends. The popularity of plants and botanical decor in interiors might give rise to some really exciting and perhaps surprising new garden trends for 2017 – we’ll just have to wait and see!

Very interesting. I really hope artificial plants don't catch on but I'd love to see more living walls. There is a very impressive one in my local airport that has been there for a few years and I always get happy when I see it! Especially when travel in winter time.
