Eliminate Dead Grass with This Gravel Path!

We had this hideous spot in our yard where grass would never grow! So annoying! I decided to eliminate the headache and completely change the space between our driveway and backyard gate! And it’s so simple! Here’s how to create a stepping stone and gravel walkway at your house!

  1. How are they holding up? My gravel pathway has lots of weeds after a year or two. I wonder if the fabric that I used was not good enough.

  2. Good video but I would suggest cardboard and landscape fabric, then nothing will get through.

  3. Great job! You inspired me to do the same thing in my front yard.
Do u mind me asking what are those beautiful flowers under your window?

  4. Hey Chelsea, I really like how you did this, your voice is so soothing and I like the way you put your videos together, its non intimidating and simple. Thanks.

  5. Hi,
Do I need a permit for stepping stone and gravel pathway in my backyard?
N.B. If its already done what should I do since the city has to come in the future for a gazebo inspection?

  6. After going through a total drought and excessive heat here in Texas this year, I decided to take out my ivy, which was struggling and looking rather sad, and I replaced it with Canadian gravel which is a nice mix of grey, tan, brown stones. I placed two huge terracotta planters on the gravel with caladiums and ferns and I love it. So easy to blow leaves off the gravel. It has a nice , neat appearance and I'm saving time and energy and not wasting water, watering an entire bed of ivy which isn't really doing anything in this heat. I'm going more and more into Xeriscaping because of the climate changes. I rather have drinking water than trying to keep grass and ground covers alive in extreme weather conditions. You did a great job !!!

  7. Chelsea I taught your suppose to use sand and a tamper to keep the pavers level🤷🏾‍♂️⁉️

  8. Do you have e to remove grass? What happens you just put tarp over grass and lay rocks on top?
