Added bonus: if you repeat easy to propagate plants it's a cheap way to fill up a border. I propagated irises and carex starting with one little plant and now I have pretty bunches all over
Blues and silvers—very restful.
Repeat plantings are also a great idea for helping useful pollinators. The bees 🐝 will thank you for having a quantity of the same flower in convenient groupings.
