The Dollar Tree normally starts to put out their gardening supplies for our area right after Christmas. I wanted to go into the Dollar Tree to see if they have starting putting gardening supplies on the shelves for the 2021 gardening season. They have starting stocking garden supplies so come shop with me and let’s see what they have and what we picked up. If you are on a budget or beginning to garden I highly recommend you get some gardening supplies from the Dollar Tree to start off.

I couldn't find any seeds… my stores barely had anything n I live in Florida. 🤷🏾♀️ maybe I need to go to a better neighborhood
Dollar Tree seeds are actually really amazing, I get about 99% germination on all and they grow into healthy plants. Even got Dollar Tree white sage to grow and anybody whos grown white sage knows what a pain it is to get it to grow lol
I used an exacto knife to very carefully cut the holes at the bottom.
The 2 dollar trees near me didn't have the seed stands up. I bought the 6 pack disposable pots and one seed starter soil mix.
My gardening goal this year is to grow cilantro successfully. I plan to use seeds from the produce we buy and try to grow peppers and tomatoes.
I love dollar stores. It’s something about buying gardening supplies……. in a dollar store.
I past at least 4 stores to go to the store I like… headed out in a few to mine!!
The barrel design is a great quality! I’m getting more for some Asian greens.
Hi you can use a hot glue gun to put holes at the bottom of those pots, because they are thinner the point of the glue gun goes right through. I did all my pots this way and it worked great.
Oooo our Dollar Tree didn’t have those brown pots in two sizes!

Yes I just picked up some of the seeds including the microgreens seeds…I didn't buy the greenhouse instead I'm planning on planting in pasta sauce glass jars that I saved..let's see how this goes😅
The drainage holes are on the pots, I just use a knife to pry them out.

I’m in 7A. I have my 2 favorite stores only because it’s always neat and clean. The other ones are always a disaster and they never re organize and straighten the stuff out. But funny yesterday I went to 3 dollar trees yesterday looking for the plant clips, stackable planters and the 12 pack seed starting pots. My 2 go to stores had nothing and the disaster store had everything in stock 😅
For the drainage holes, take an old Phillips head screw driver with a good size tip and put the tip in the gas stove or in a lighter, get it really hot and it put in through the designated drainage spot. Repeat for each hole. Works perfect and no cracking.
I bought several bags of clips I saw in one of my seed catalogs the same type of clips for 12.99

I used dollar tree veggie seeds last year and had good results from them,and I live in Wisconsin.
When your drilling a drain hole in a plastic container always set it on a wood block. That will keep it from cracking.
Moved here to San Bernardino County and it doesn't have much. I found one with seeds and grow pots and tools, though. By Bakersfield that is where it is! Whole large section for gardening and 2 stands of seeds.
I buy all my garden stuff from the dollar tree. There great and affordable.

hey just a heads up i normally use the drill to drill out my pots , but this year i tried the crew driver and my pot cracked across the bottom , maybe you will have better look <3 good luck
