  1. Robbie – I love your channel. I just made my 1st water creation for hummingbirds. I had a hard time attracting 1 but I figured it out watching your videos. I ❤️ hummingbirds & I am enjoying all the ideas you share. 💕💕💕💕🤩🥳

  2. No stakes this year in dollar stores. Box stores very expensive. Any ideas ?…Your the best!

  3. There’s Robbie in the Casbar again, lol, love all the amazing ideas you come up with, I have been organizing my closet and have found several things that I can use to make cheerful sails. Thank you Robbie, for all the things you do for all of us and for sharing your wonderful ideas. Much love to you and Garry and stay safe.

  4. Thank you Robbie and Gary for all your wonderful tips and ideas. Recently we were hit hard by hurricane Hanna. Our garden was torn to pieces nothing left. I am torn if we will start over. Just uncertain.

  5. 🇬🇧🙋 Hi Robbie, great idea yet again. You can also use a cigarette lighter to make slits or holes in the fabric to stop the wind blowing it away. Like your soldering iron, it seals the burnt edges so they don't frey or tear. In the UK we can also get gas lighter guns (not sure what they're called) you pull the trigger to make a small flame & they're used to light things like candles & bbq's safely. If all else fails, use a candle but be careful of the hot wax!

  6. I was thinking of doing that for our area that I am going to plant out in our back yard in silicone I think, laundry tubs. Going to paint them first with a sun protective paint so they hopefully last longer out there in the Aussie sun.
    Thanks for your tips 🙂

  7. Enjoy your style of explaining and teaching very much, thank you for making these videos!

  8. That's cool. I'm glad I watched the video because now I know I did my garden good. After watching someone else's video about sun shading, I thought to use and old table cloth to drape over my garden which is housed in a big dog kennel. What I didn't do was cut holes in it. I shall go do that. Thank you for your videos. <3

I live in AZ close to Laughlin. I have 2 raised beds. The problem I am having is I just planted my winter garden and today I came out to th tiny plants all dug up but not eaten. How do I prevent this?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  10. Very helpful garden tip, I'm going to roll around in my garden as soon as I can, let's be YouTube mate?

  11. I never would have thought about using a soldiering iron until now, thanks to you. Thank you for this idea. 🙂 🙂

  12. Great idea…sunsail for my birdbath that’s totally in the sun which needs shade to keep the water cooler in summer heat. Thanks

  13. Have been enjoying all your hints so much and putting them into practice too for a few weeks! Thank you Robbie and Gary! Wish I had thought of this idea when we had a freeze, I lost a lemon tree and still not giving up hope on it. PS I have my first solar fountain already too! In a bucket but have already been playing with cement too and you mentioned you were thinking of that. Can't wait! I saw your fountain in the tub yesterday. Way to go.

  14. Super idea! What about a small tarp-can buy for $2 on sale at Harbor Freight. I keep extra tarps, just for things like this! 😊

  15. how do you know what percentage of sun will go through them. Like for tomatoes, I have been hold should be around 40-50%?

  16. I love it . I did buy some 50% shade clothes and use them in some places . I have lots of old baby blankets from when grandbaby girl was littler. I am sure she won't mind me using some for our garden .
Thank you for another inspiring idea .

  17. I can so appreciate your disappointment of a shade cloth blowing away. In my case, I'm feeling the need for a shade cloth due to needing a %age of sun to come through. The last couple of days I've used a sheet, but I think my transplanted zucchini need a percentage of sun and I think the sheet doesn't allow any sun to get through to them. I welcome your thoughts.

  18. Interesting.
And thanks for an excellent demonstration of one of the ways to use zip ties.
I wonder how tall you must be to easily access the top of the tall stakes.
