Will you be making Muscadine jelly? I thought the Muscadine ripens in early October. I'm probably wrong about that. You are in TN and I'm in NC so maybe that's the difference. I like cats, but the t-shirt, not so much. hahaha I may not know you in person like Darrell does, but I'm doubting tie dyed is your taste! Ha! Ha! Ha! Darrell wouldn't be driving that fast in our NC mountains! That's certain! We have too many steep cliffs and winding curves. Denise is shy (like me) and a real hoot! Looks like a fun day! Thanks for sharing! 😀
What an awesome fall trip with friends. Had no idea they had pick your own grape farms but why not? Love the cat shirt too. Now on to make wine or grape jelly from your adventures. I vote for the wine!
You guys looked like you had fun. I have to admit, picking my grapes that have been already bottled is a lot easier. Lol
Have a great weekend ❤️
It’s official you are now a hippy with that shirt and long hair lol
Loving the field trip – what a fun group!
OMGOSH what fun!!! Always wondered what a muscadine grape tastes like. Kaye you gave me my answer. I'll stick with concord. Denise is a HOOT!!!!! I would want to hang out with her all the time. Great energy.
Frozen grapes make a great snack!!
I really need to go pick some muscadine. I enjoy them fresh or in jams. Thank you for your video of an awesome field trip. Wonder how far they are from south central KY? I love the gift!!
I really love muscadine pies in addition to jam.
That was a pleasant video to start my day. Now back to processing tomatoes, peppers and onions (making onion powder).
Omgah.. that Tshirt! 🤣 Where in the world did Darrell get that?! My niece would love one of those. Hahahahaha
Why are you picking them when they're not ripe. can't you wait? you don't pick them like blueberries.
I love the way you told Daryl to slow down. I have to tell my husband the same thing..ugh
R the grapes purple. beards looking great darrel… im still looking at bamboo. and prices
love the shirt .. it is perfect for you. I am just now eating my first gold muscadines growing on one of my arches in it's3rd year.. So yummy ..
LOOK'S LIKE YALL HAD A GREAT TIME! THE SHIRT DARRELL GAVE YOU WAS AWESOME. WOULD LIKE TO BUY ONE FOR MYSELF. YOUR FRIEND AND HIS MOM WERE SO SWEET. ENJOY THE TIMES SPENT TOGETHER, THEY WELL LAST A LIFE TIME!!!
"The Three Muscadines!" HA HA. You guys are cute together. I would love to find a place to pick Muscadines in Georgia near me. Callaway Gardens about 1 1/2 hours south of Atlanta is Pine Mountain, GA. and Callaway Gardens has Mr. Callaway's garden that is about 7 acres you can walk and look at. I love it! Anyway…they grow Muscadines. The little country general store on the property has Muscadine Jelly for sale that they serve with hot biscuits when you eat there while you wait for your food. To die for…When I go down there in few weeks I will get some and try to mail some your way. Blessings!
😂😂😂
Love it❤❤. So much fun you can’t call it work. Nice t shirt too. Sending love and hugs. God Bless you.
Muscadines are very different from other grapes. Most don't eat the skin or seeds.
Looks so fun! I have double trouble in the yards of my home here in the desert now. Not just hoards of grasshoppers that ignore pepper spray, but now Western Grape Leaf Skeletonizer caterpillars. Just discovered those – I'd blamed the Grasshoppers for the very intensive grape leaf destruction. Oops. Both. So B.T. maybe but I think it is too late as the vine has few leaves. Ugh. I really hope to harvest more squash, green beans, and the melons that are nearly ready. Sprayed heavily today for the beans. Wishing you a happy rest of the weekend. Prayers for the fine folks in the path of the coming hurricane Ian. Those Scuppernogs you picked look so tasty. I had considered planting those when we lived in both TN and FL.
Is Buckler Farms in Kentucky? Where?
Looks like fun. And the cat shirt was cool.🐈🐈🐈
Okay, so y'all eat them differently than we do in the Carolinas. We find the hole where the grape was attached to the vine. Squirt the insides in your mouth and swallow, and throw the skin away. 😀 Ain't no chewing going on lol!
Hi Kay, will you be making wine with the grapes you picked?
