  2. Which decreases the temperature more shade cloth or using aluminate?

  3. Does the shade cloth extend to the sides or just on the top?

  4. Oh my gosh my garden needs this badly!! We get so heavily geo-engineered the uv is off the charts and my plants get scorched.

  5. Also, I just checked Amazon for the Aluminet shade cloth and have no idea at to select. There is a 40%. 70%, 90%, etc. Several colors as well. Can you please help narrow this down? I just received 50% agfabric and going to return it after watching this video but I need to have something to shade my veggies. Thanks!

  6. you dont see chem trails? i hope thats a joke. thats a right wing misnomer…started decades ago. its con trails as in two words as in short for condensation trails. The same way you get condensation on a glass. Pollution does come out of planes as burned fuel but there are no chemicals in fuel. think msugar in a gas tank. it would never fly.

  7. Hi John .I realy enjoy watching your videos., would like to ask for your help to solve a big problem. I live in Crete Greece and want to set up a perminant shade net over my dragon fruit pantation .cause it gets very hot here in the summer.with temperatures rising up from 38°C to 45°C. So my question for you is, what would be the most ideal shade net i should be useing,a 30%,40% or 50% shade .Please help me, God Bless you and your love ones.Thank you.

  8. Living in the mild climate we generally have I never thought I'd need shade cloth, but this year we had a rude awakening. For the first time, we experienced horrific wildfires, severe drought, and water restrictions so we lost a lot of plants. I'm getting shade cloth for my veg garden next season for those freakishly scorching days that we can expect in the years ahead. Thanks for this video!

  9. I used ground cover and I was able to cut from a single planting of Mesclun from June through…now (6A NE Ohio). Just had to be on top of covering and removing everyday during peak sun.

  10. Not all parts of california are so fortunate. Here in Lodi it gets over 100 regularly. And we don't even have it the worst

  11. Is the shade cloth fabric tight enough to keep bugs out ? I used a bug net last year and it worked perfect but the plants still get fried in the texas heat. Also wonder if it would be ok to completely in close my raised bed with this shade cloth like I did the bug net or if it will keep the heat trapped inside ?

  12. What % was your black shade cloth that you didn't like? Was it comparable to the 40-50% of your Aluminet?

  13. Great Video! Thanks! What kind of poles are your 1" metal poles? Any suggestions where to look for them. Having a hard time finding them in the area of Texas I'm in. Aloha

  14. Hey bought my juicer off this guy (which I absolutely love, Tribest Slowstar)!!! Totally random that I found another one of his videos completely unrelated to juicing, guess John and I want similar lifestyles. Keep up the great content!!

  15. Great video! Where did you get your tube canopy system & fittings that the shades are connected to?

  16. John, very informative video, thank you!! Do you have a link for where to buy the framework corners you showed?

  17. This is now 2022 of June! Since may had 109 to 100 temps in Abilene, TX. No rain! I put up shade cloth, best thing I Ever done! No trees! And plants do grow under the tree! Also covers my sitting area to rest!! My plants are growing waaaay better under shade cloth! I use plain black shade cloth!

  18. Man, I appreciate your info! And it sucks that they are doing aerosol injections regularly. Wish they’d just leave Gods earth alone. My mom and dad just gave my a bunch of black shade cloth. Wondering if I should just go buy me some white shade cloth?

  19. I have been using the aluminum netting for several years. After about 5 years the aluminum starts flaking off and flying around.

  20. You are completely misleading talking about the temps in California. Should make sure you know about them better throughout the entire state that you are talking about when trying to educate people. Not just where you are from. Am sure you didn't live all over. Or even more than just a few places or regions if that.

  21. So, why is the Biden Government pumping CO2 out of the atmosphere with these huge pumps collecting than pushing underground. CO2 they say is bad for environment? Someone needs to talk to them.

  22. Curious what the temperature was or tends to get to. I'm also in the desert in triples in june – aug. working on growing zucchini and cantaloupe.

  23. Great informative video. I'm in Tucson and appreciate your info. There are very minimal desert gardening videos.

  24. Here in Hawaii, I'm needing shade cloth despite high temperature only in the high 80s or very low 90s. The sun is too strong during the summer time. Especially my cucumbers and squash leaves were wilting and burning despite moist soil.
