Welcome to Moody Blooms! In this video I transform my parent’s front yard into a succulent garden. I remove all the old plants, prep the soil, add a sprinkler drop system and them add succulents. Some of the succulent varieties added are:
Aeonium arboreum pronounced ar-BOR-ee-um (meaning tree-like).
Aloe Brevifolia also known as Crocodile Aloe,
Aeonium urbicum pronounced UR-bee-kum Urban (meaning belonging to cities or towns).
Graptoveria ‘Fred Ives’ (hybrid of Graptopetalum paraguayense × Echeveria gibbiflora). ‘Fred Ives’ is an amazing succulent. It’s normally a pinkish purple color, but can stress to almost any color of the rainbow in heat, cold, or with plenty of sunlight.
Senecio vitalis ‘Serpents’ (pronounced sen-ek-ee-o or sen-NEESH-shee-oh, vi-TAL-is) also known as Blue Chalk Fingers, Narrow-Leaf Chalksticks, Bush Blue pickle. Narrow blue-green, upright leaves are densely packed on a spreading shrub. Densely packed, narrow, blue-green leaves grow in an organized fashion. Adaptable As Houseplant. Heat Tolerant. Drought Tolerant. Dramatic foliage is a perfect accent plant or great for adding height or texture to any succulent arrangement. Full sun or part shade. The genus Senecio means Latin form of old man refers to hairy parts of flowers
Kalanchoe beharensis, pronounced be-HAIR-en-sis (meaning: of or from Behara, South Madagascar) commonly called velvet-leaf, felt bush or elephant’s ear kalanchoe, is a succulent tree-like shrub that is native to Madagascar. This perennial succulent becomes tree-like as it slowly grows up to 12 feet (3.6 m) tall.
Crassula ovata ‘Gollum’ aldo known as Gollum Jade.
Kalanchoe luciae Paddle Plants also known as Flapjacks.
thyrsiflora are smaller, slightly cupped and uniformly chalky green or white, covered with a thick flour-like coating of wax and rarely showing any red or pink coloration. The leaves of K. luciae have less bloom and develop blushing pink to deep red margins, with more pronounced color in more sunlight.
Echeveria imbricata (pronounced im-brih-KAY-tuh) meaning: shingled or overlapping. Also known as Blue Rose Echeveria or Hens and chicks.
Graptosedum ‘Vera Higgins’
Golden Sedum – Sedum Adolphii Firestorm – (ad-OL-fee) also known as Sedum nussbaumerianum (nuss-baw-mer-ee-AH-nuh) a beautiful low-growing succulent with trailing stems and orange-yellow leaves with red margins in bright light or cool temps. Sedum nussbaumerianum is similar but oranger in color when grown in the sun and its stems are less upright. Some botanists believe that the two should be lumped under the name S. adolphii. ”
Differences between Sedum adolphii vs Sedum nussbaumerianum
Sedum adolphii leaves would resemble a banana leaf while on the other hand, Sedum nussbaumerianum leaves would be almond shaped.
Crested Echeveria imbricata
Aeonium arboreum ‘Zwartkop’ (‘Schwartzkopf’)
Crested Senecio vitalis ‘Serpents’ Mermaid Tail Succulents are a thing and they are magical

  1. hello good friend nice video 🇮🇩 Indonesia 🇮🇩♥️♥️♥️♥️ ♥️ ♥️ 🇮🇩 ♥️

  2. I love it! Out in front of my house I left a few rose bushes growing in the ground, but around them put weed barrier, etc., and filled in with large planters (tiered at different heights) with succulents, including groundcover that drapes over containers and gets daisy-like blooms of various colors. It's made it really easy to use cuttings to mix different things among the containers for a great mix that everyone who walks by compliments. I just love the various flower-shaped succulents that come in so many different colors and shades of green!
