  1. Moving the deflector out just one position does in fact improve evenness of coverage greatly. I have four of these (two in two zones) in the front and rear beds next to my house going in four years now. I was careful to inspect them thoroughly in the store and I haven’t had an issue with any of them so far. They are outside in the South Florida heat year round and are used year round. I have the hoses buried under wood mulch, the units are in my shrubbery beds, I have a four zone brass water splitter at the tap with an egg timer style water timer. It’s as good as an underground system for less than fifty dollars.

  2. Do you think it might have been a good idea, to pull the camera back a bit so we could also see overall coverage!?
