I feel like I've tried everything. I have Petunias in a flower box. They're just green leafy sticks now. I've tried deadheading the blooms after they've been spent, I've cut the stem back halfway, used fertilizer for blooms, The soil is dry by the end of the day- I always water in the morning before work. They're so ugly. Thinking of giving up on them. 🙁

Mike you hit it on the head. I am indeed giving too much nitrogen it seems. I'll try very high phos fertilizer on my mature plants that I don't necessary need to "grow"

Hello. I have a couple of rose bushes that grow nicely but do not flower growing side by side with other roses that do bloom regularly. Any ideas ?
I have a rhododendron in a corner that is doing so well but then two others in the open. Those two have the fewest leaves, brown dry leaves and very thin. And they look worst every year. Maybe I should pick a different spot? What should I do?
