  1. I so wish I could sow broad benas outside, would make life so much easier, if the Mice dont get them they rot in the ground for me so I have to start them in modules undercover…Steve…🙂

  2. Great tips there, I've been doing the same in my garden, topping up the plot with homemade compost ready for next year and getting the garlic in the ground ready to grow!

  3. Great advice, thanks. Though I actually did all those jobs yesterday, the weather was glorious! Feel I ‘m on top of things now, just have to spread my compost on, trouble is although I ‘ve got a three bay system, I ‘m really not sure when to do what, I try to vary what I put in , greens, cardboard, veg waste, coffee grounds, but it never seems to evolve into beautiful compost, any advice please? Also, not sure what should follow what, especially as I had some white rot this year. I know to rotate beds, I have 12, any advice greatly received!

  4. That’s the best advice Tony get sorted out now it makes it easier in spring,we have a local farmer that drops a trailer full of rotted manure to our allotment for £25,it’s a large trailer so we split it with another plot holder, bargain £12,50 each,we mulch the beds & fill the compost bins.also get canes etc put away in the dry keep the winter off them they will last for years, make sure everything is secure as high winds can destroy a plot.happy gardening everyone.

  5. Great reminders, Tony! the better we out our garden to bed for winter, the easier our job come spring!

  6. I'll be picking comfrey leaves shortly Tony and running the mower over them and the autumn leaves along with the grass clippings and mulch my beds with that for the winter..

  7. After last night's discussion with Jesse about cucumbers being sown early I've got a packet of Socrates and I'm going to give it a go. It's Johnsons seeds that have them.

  8. Great video Tony, I am trying to tidy up my garden now for next year, I grow in pots and hexagonal raised beds, but still a lot to do! Wish me luck 😂😂

  9. Great video with some excellent tips. Do you cover your autumn potatoes just at night or all the time? Ill give that a try. I was going to fleece mine to let light in. Will be fleecing my salads too as they’re growing so slowly. Thanks Sarah

  10. Great video. Really enjoyed it. My beetroot is just big leafy plants but no roots. Any suggestions?

  11. Hey up tony,do you worry about all the rain, washing nutriants away, i put manure on and sheet it up with waterproof sheet, then midfle of febuary,i take it off then, leave it for growing season, thanks
