Hey there!

Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking and environmental science in my Australian bushland backyard.

My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist working towards completing a PhD in understanding how people’s wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change. I’ve always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food!

On this channel you’ll find videos relating to garden tours, ‘how to’ videos, composting, soil health, ecosystem services, and seed saving.

I try to upload twice a week and I hope you enjoy!!

  1. Great advice Robyn. I grew anywhere I could. In Alaska I grew in windows and tires. Never seen things grow so fast!! That summer midnight ☀️. I have this primal urge to grow that’s been growing inside me for a decade.

  2. G'day Robyn, great video. Definitely a good idea to plan what you want to plant and where. I know the struggle of choosing seeds to plant Lol 🤣 I had to make a list and then had to lucky dip to pick what to plant 🤣
Rainforest area will be awesome. Have a great week and God bless you guys. 🦘👍

  3. I have three Atherton Raspberry plants from a friend that grew under his fence along a laneway. They are in pots now but am looking at what the best aspect is for them in my Sydney garden. Any suggestions?

  4. I'd love it if you could make a video about plants that you recommend for tea 🙂
