  1. Something's wrong here. I only use organic pest control and have used Bt for years. On this product's website they claim it is designed for organic gardening, but after spraying a couple of plants I noticed a paint thinner smell. I checked the warning label and realized it was similar to paint thinner warnings, including washing exposed skin with running water for 15-20 minutes. Bonide also claims it can be used up to the day of harvest. REALLY? I sprayed those plants two days ago and still can detect that paint thinner smell. One has to wonder if the Bt bacteria could actually survive in this mysterious, caustic substance (which is not listed anywhere on the product) What is really killing the caterpillars, and does the term "organic" really have any credibility anymore?
