  1. Can you talk about your landscape lighting? They look solar powered which I been trying to look for!

  2. If you want those mugo pines to stay nice, definitely run a hedge trimmer flat over the tops of them. Otherwise they will end up an unruly mess.

  3. I’ve used a garden hose around the perimeter, in order to mark the outer boundary of the mulch area. Easier than using marking paint. Remove hose after layout and mulching.

  4. Hi Doc, I love your yard, I use your teachings for my yard. I don't have the right tools to work with so, I use what I have. I hand cut trees, bushes, and hand cut edges too! To tell the truth, I am so jealous of your lawn, sometimes I cry. Because, I am not good at it, But I don't give up. I'm 65 yrs. old And just keep working. Being a disable Veteran, I have to do it all myself. One day it will look good, Not your good But, good. Thank you!!

  5. Doc, surprised to see you using Roundup. Can you please do a video on pet safe products for the lawn and garden.

  6. mix the clay with soil conditioner and compost, not potting soil… Also don't use roundup. Use a sharpened(angle grinder works great) garden spade(square shovel) and edge the bed. Then transplant any Bermuda grass you remove to spots you might need it.

  7. Doc, can you please make a video about all the plants in your flower beds? It would be a nice break from the lawn care videos. I'm currently working on my flower beds and really need ideas on what to plant, especially evergreens and perennials. I'm in zone 9a, by the way. Also, did I see a Japanese maple in your flower bed?

  8. wow, you know your already taking care of poisoning the bees, you could just sprinkle a little bit of arsenic around and take out those pesky deer too.

  9. Doc I heard you talking about treating the perimeter behind your privacy fence and for the life of me I cant find that video can you help me out
