    Robbie have you tried growing in styrofoam? Like the ice chest or something similar. I was thinking of trying them myself.

    Hi Robbie. I have a problem with the tub planters. I live in North Central Florida & we get a lot of rain here. With the way the chairs slope to accommodate our rear ends the water doesn't drain very well. I've had to prop the lower end with wood to make them drain properly. Before I knew about the problem I planted some cool season veggies & they all rotted. So, I plan to re-plant to see how it works. If it still is a problem l will put a few holes in the bottom.

    I have a similar product … w legs half the size and base and upper grow bed doubled. The base Mosquito haven basin and the top dries out far too quickly in summer. Will also be repurposing it's parts. Look forward to seeing your vision for the new deck garden!

    The floral department at our local Kroger in TN gives away their flower pots for free. Just ask ,I got a total of over 100 ,best time is after holidays that people usually buy flowers.
