    I love how beautiful it looks and how it will cut down on bending over and the watering time. I got 5 buckets given to me today and I am going to set them up like this. I also have several of those blocks that I can use for my totes and two pieces of an old aluminum ladder that I can put on the blocks. I am so thankful that you share your creative ideas with us!     Wonderful idea. Months ago, I started picking up 4 to 6 cinder blocks whenever I went to loews or home depot. Mainly to place rain barrels on top. But this is a great idea. Started drilling holes in containers, on the side, instead of the bottom of containers and buckets to more easily collect the drain off. Bought tubing to help collect that "tea". After the learning curve, this year, should be all set for next year. Containers are definitely the way to go. No wasted space, and less soil needed.

    My Hugelkultur bed did well this year, but the height of the planting soil drastically dropped upon break down. Will keep it, turn it, and add more compost to it, but concentrate on containers.

    Still have a cardboard box with tomatoes that are loaded right now.

    Who knew container gardening could be so much fun? Thanks to you and Gary.

    Robbie you are my inspiration! I have learned so much from you. Well, around here our thrift stores don't sell totes, they use them, so I had to buy new. That left no money for chairs . And picking containers up off the ground here is a must because the fire ants will find them. So I racked my brain about how to lift up all of these totes and pots. Well, my husband is a retired carpenter. We have a ton of blocks and old extension ladders. About 2 months ago I robbed his stash and made 2 long tables with blocks and ladders!!! I probably have 10 or more plants on each ladder. I have been so blessed with the results from using your method of totes with reservoirs coupled with tulle! Our ground is like concrete no matter how much we amend. Even if we could find a source of wood chips the fire ants would invade with a vengeance. The totes address every problem we have faced gardening here. My husband is so impressed with the results he wants me to buy him some totes! Thank you for being such a blessing for our family!

    That Water system is Genius idea. Its like a waterfall Pyramid affect . Robbie your always thinking. Gardening seems therapeutic to you and enjoyable. I know when i could garden in my yard. it was very therapeutic for me also. just me and the birds like you. But i do enjoy my totes on chairs on the balcony. Still therapeutic.
