Vegetable Container Garden Fall Transition – Part 2

In Part 2 of this series we look at what I use as fertilizers in my containers, how they are applied and why you may or may not want to include them. I will be doing comparisons in the near future on the different fertilizers and how/if they improve the plant’s plant growth and/or vegetable production.

  1. I am in the process of setting up grow bags myself, to solve my problem of a VERY prolific season last fall for my nearby black walnut tree. It dropped hundreds of walnut pods all over my garden beds. Raised beds were the answer up to then, but squirrels have buried many of the nuts in my garden soil. I'll be sifting it all through my trommel and hoping it's not significantly affected. In the meantime, grow bags it is.
I'm glad I found you. Thanks for the relevant, timely and well presented info!
