1. Download the shell off the gallery and turn it into whatever you want!
2. The only “rule” is that the existing exterior walls must remain the same. So the “shell” of the building must stay, but you can add anything else!
3. Foundations, platforms, wall height changes, patios, balconies, roofs, interior walls, etc. are all fair game! Add whatever you want, just don’t change or move any of my existing walls!
4. Post to #SimsieWelcomeShell when you’re done!

since we want new stuff for the sims may i suggest they bring back the jungle gyms and see saws from ts3 and also the ability to play tag 😭😭😭 those were my fave things in ts3 i loved making all the kids play tag after school to build that friendship up
Also I know what you mean having a default plant you always go to – mine is that shrub thing with the little white flowers, i put those EVERYWHERE lol
I am the same way with not liking doors on single tile spaces.
I spent so long trying to roof this that I had to stop playing before actually floorplanning or decorating xD
I would love to have a landscape kit, because landscaping is the best part of building sims houses.
3:36 You added walls for the chimney, though they were half walls, you added multiple to make a full wall. So I guess that technically follows your rules, following that, then it seems one could change other aspects of the shell with multiple stacked half walls. Just pointing it out since people could take advantage of that.
Regarding curtains, I tend to use commands to reduce the size and finely choose where to put them.

I love how simsie complains about not enough pastels, but I'd never buy anything that was pastel for my real house. My house is either deep royal blue or bright colors lol
She should try to play the Sims on a console.If she hasn't already.
They could do something like a GardenScape Kit. Clothes could have things like garden gloves, patchwork jeans, overalls that kinda thing. A good hair might be a high ponytail or hair with sun hat. Then it could have outside landscape pieces and maybe more functional inside flowers!!
Hell, if they only make a few of each kind of piece and are feeling generous, release it as a SDX drop🤷♀️

They should add bushes just like the modular couches. Adjust width, height and color. Would be heaven.
What about flipping the floors like the second becomes the first and vis versa
I have been wanting to do one of these shell challenges and I downloaded the shell yesterday and I've nvr built before, so the roof took me an embarrassingly long time xD but its finally looking like a house and I have learned so much by doing this.

Wouldn't it be cool if EA released a botanical garden pack for TS4, with new trees, other plants, rocks, and of course the usual other build and buy mode items that would fit the theme of the pack?
I wouldn't mind a new world as well with a "plant lovers" kind of community. I just imagine a spiritual, Bohemian, Hippie kind of community.

Heyyyyyy Simsie! I think you should maybe consider doing color challenges… like weekly, and maybe they have to include one wild patterned object or three voted on by twitch chat weekly. Color could be chosen by a random color wheel spinner. Would make a good stream and two awesome you tube vids. You’d use more unused objects from like movie pack or luxury or batuu… lol.
I’ve been playing sims for a while but this is the first Shell Challenge I’ve ever done and it was actually so fun, I hated doing the roof tho 😭

I've started streaming Sims 4 and your tips have been super helpful. Thank you so much!! I do have this problem of how to delete flooring. For instance when I want an open space around my stairs with a balcony it automatically fills in this space with the autoflooring on my secndon+ floor and I can't figure out how to remove it. I feel so dumb.. Halp? XD
