  1. I love spending my morning sitting on my porch having coffee and watching your videos, I have learned so much in the few months since I found your channel. I
garden in Fairhope which is zone 8b coastal Alabama. ❤

  2. It was great to finally get out to Creekside this past weekend and to meet you and Jerry! Such a lovely nursery! The show we saw Saturday night was really good too! I will be planting the hardy geranium I purchased from y’all this weekend when I start my fall clean up.

  3. well , good morning Miss Jenny….at this time of the year my flower garden is usually all closed up and cut down for winter ( I'm in zone 6b in Niagara Falls , Canada )….this year because the weather has been so warm , I got started later , and now I feel like I might not get everything done in time….I like my garden all neat and tidy before the snow starts to fly ( I got sidetracked by a small surgery on my finger that is preventing me from using my right hand for a few weeks ) , so I'm hoping to get everything tidy'd up in the next couple of weeks…..your gardens look beautiful as always….can't wait to see how the new burm area gets planted…keep up the good work…it's always exciting to see what you and Jerry are gonna do next

  4. Well, I have variegated Solomon seal that I use to fill in several places in my garden. I do the same thing each year thinning & moving rhizomes to areas around my yard. I love all you do because it’s so practical. I love that you have Johnny! You need your own vehicle!

  5. Hi Jenny, I am wondering if you can move Lenten Roses this time of year? I have heard that you should never move them as the don’t like it and will die. I planted one in the spring so it is not as big as yours but knowing now how big they get I think it will out grow the space it is in very quickly. I am in western Iowa and we have had a few nights that have gotten down in the 20s but the ground is still workable and not frozen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Brynna wants to help you out so badly! Such a sweet girl. How is your dahlia patch doing? I can’t remember if you’ve showed it off recently. Did they get hit by the frost?

  7. Helpful video. I'm needing these videos (clean up/put to bed for winter) so I'm paying attention. Thanks for these. Looking forward to the cottage garden bed cleanup. 🍁🍂

  8. Great video. Loved watching the dividing of the plants. Excellent. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  9. Gotta love plant math! A gardener shared some Solomon seal, hosta and ferns, dwarf mondo grass with me this summer. I’m eager for them to bulk up so I can spread them around the gardens. So much potential!

  10. Good morning Jenny! I’m so glad you now have Johnny! He will be a welcome addition😊. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🎃❤

  11. Hi Jenny 🌺 beautiful work ,well done .your garden looks beautiful in this time of the year .Have abeautiful day .🌺🦋🌺

  12. Thanks for the information about your tool belt! It will be my birthday present to myself this year. Love Johnny too I think you should put his name across his hood then everyone would know who he is. Thanks for explaining what you do when you clean/clear out your garden beds. This is so helpful especially when we have purchased new plants to us and haven’t gone a whole year with them. I’ve add several new plants this year and even though I’ve read the care and maintenance it’s nice to see it especially when you are a visual person. This year I added hostas for the first time but didn’t plant them until mid October and was shocked when I went out this week and found they had bloomed, I’m in zone six a.

  13. I hate any type of organized exercise, reminds me of the horrors of PE class! So, God got the last laugh and addicted me to gardening!

  14. I have a hellebores which is currently covered by a huge old growth hydrangeas. Freeze hasn’t happened yet. Zone 6a Connecticut

  15. Jenny,
If the Gator is predominantly for your use, does that mean you'll be giving it a pink tape collar, as you did w/ the auger, to keep it from running away? 😉

  16. I used to love this part of putting the gardens to bed. Sunshine, blue skies and cool temps make for a great day!❤ l am in an apartment now and love watching you and Laura at Garden Answer work your magic😊

  17. You are an absolute delight, Little Miss Vanna. I’ll probably get a grin several times today thinking about that.
    Congratulations on Johnny!

  18. Fall is my most favorite time for gardens as the colors are gorgeous. Your gardens are so beautiful. I enjoy my morning coffee and your gardening advice. 🥰
