  1. Great video, Jill. Super hot over here. I live in a desert. Goodness. I’m getting my video here in a bit. We’re all well too. Thank God. Stay safe and healthy. God bless you. Bertha. That pool is a great idea.

  2. God bless you both! Thank you for the update – so glad you're both staying healthy. I am seriously excited about ordering those Cantare beans! As you know, we're somewhat (1 year!) new to central TX, so I need to figure out what to prepare for the fall garden. Enjoy the pool, get some sweet tea and stay cool! ❤️

  3. Jill, you could have left those potatoes in a lot longer they would have kept growing when the tops turn brown and look dead they are ready…..And I see we got a rare visit from your hubby…lol

  4. Congrats tomato and peppers same here mostly bad planning on my part. I got some small water melons that might ripen.

  5. Hi glad I found your channel. I’m a new gardener and I’m just south of Fort Worth area. My beans haven’t produced at all.

  6. Hello Ms. Jill.
Glad to watch your video. Thank you for sharring. It is HOT here is SA. 103 – 107 for the next 7 days 😰
So encouraging to see those potatos. I want to grow some too. I got to wait till next year thoug. I am going to try to put some sweet potatoes down, but i am waiting to see if there is a few days on the 90s at least. Is too hot to start anything out there. Watermelon is growing good. Can't wait to see fruit 😍
    Keep up the good work
    God bless you

  7. My Strike Bush beans and Kentucky Blue Pole beans got a second wind and took off again. Has never happened before. Good year for beans 🙂 (Boerne, Texas)

  8. Can you teach us how to do the seed saving you plan on doing from the cantaloupe and squash?
Can you do that from organic produce from the market, too?
Also, my mom makes an amazing soup from beet greens.

  9. So far my tiny deck garden is thriving. I did bush beans (1st batch froze) 2nd going strong. I also tried potatoes in a bag. Many container tomatoes. Cukes. Multi plantings of lettuce and arugula. I have onions too. Lots of parsley, basil and thyme. Celery.
My fall planting will start much later. God Bless.

  10. thanks for sharing your beautiful garden videos, thats really awesome. keep the good content. God Bless

  11. Sure is a good video. It sure been hot. No rain in about a month. The heat been in the 100 and real feel around 105. My cucumbers is toast the squash is barely hanging on. The onions didn't do good. But good enough for me. Have a great weekend and safe one.

  12. They're prob determinate potatoes, which don't require hilling and only grow on one level. Indeterminate require hilling and grow up

  13. New sub here. Thank you for sharing your garden journey. Our Tomatos didnt do as well this year, a lot of over cast days in spring, rats and army worms 1st time in 8 years since moving to Bedford. Last year it was stink bugs,. Crazy.
