How to use Google Maps to create a Landscape Base Map
Every good landscape begins with a plan, and every good plan begins with a base map. In this video we’ll show you how to use google maps to create a base map for your property.
This was great, thanks, been searching for "landscape garden pictures" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried – Giyily Landscaping Yatty – (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my partner got great results with it.
I prefer Google Earth Pro. The history tool allows you to go back in time so that if you have a lot of tree cover you can typically find a winter view. It’s invaluable for accurately getting the north orientation and if you are lucky you can see a street view. I use a secret process to take the google image directly into my Auto Cad landscape software. The whole process is a game changer
I actually had a client argue that the Google measurements were more accurate than the tape measure we had right in front of us…it was '3,000 square feet off.

This works great, except the print. When I print all I get is a tan rectangle…not very helpful.
I love this feature but usually, I will still measure by hand to ensure that everything is accurate give or take
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Excellent video! Thank you.
