SG is technically incorrect, completely wrong understanding of plant breeding. All pulses, rice and many more plants are hermaphrodite and yet cross breeding is done using various techniques. These are basic plant breeding taught in UG courses in all State Agricultural Universities.

Even before the field results are out, you are voicing in favour of GM Mustard crop production. This is nothing short of prejudicial utterances.
Correction it's 7 million dollars not 7 billion dollars the cost in which Indian scientist been able to cross pollinate new variety of mustard.

One thing i would like to know how the GM seeds will compare to nutrients from non-GMO or other GMs. Reason of GM is to modify some part to make it more sustainable and may also be resistant to diseases to improve mass producing.
