There are two main tricks for picking the best tasting tomato no matter where you live. You start with the earliest rated tomato for your region and work your way to the optimum season length tomato. The second is by testing 3-5 tomato varieties every year and when you find a variety that is the worst performer or worst tasting two or three years in a row, you stop growing it in your garden. This way, season by season, you get the best possible tasting vegetables in your garden.

Thanks Doug, I live in Sharbot Lake, ON and every year, going on 4 since I've been here, my tomatoes don't do well. Black spots, or hollow inside..any tips or advice would be most appreciated.
